Self-referral For Local Services

Most referrals to other specialists will require you seeing or speaking with a GP, however there are a number of services locally, listed below that you are able to make self-referrals to.

 

Physiotherapy

Lines are open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

You must be over 16 years of age to use this service.  

Walking Aid Assessment

If you require an assessment for a new walking aid please complete the form using the link below and send it to the appropriate address shown on page 2.

Podiatry

The service is available, regardless of age, for those with a podiatric/medical need. Patients can self refer by filling out an application form found in the link below. Once complete this form should be sent to The Podiatry Department, NP Admin, Allander House, 139 Leith Walk, EH6 8NP.

Quit Your Way is our free stop smoking service, where trained and friendly advisers can be contacted in line with Coronavirus restrictions via Freephone or live web chat, residents can also request to be posted an information pack about quitting.

There are a variety of free stop smoking options available, and our helpful advisers are here to support you every step of the way. Including:

  • One to one support
  • Telephone and text
  • Support if you’re in hospital
  • Support if you use e-cigarettes
  • Support at your local pharmacy
  • Support during pregnancy
